Shanghai Expo Taiwan pavilion greets 100

Shanghai, May 25 (CNA) The Taiwan Pavilion at the 2010 Shanghai World Expo greeted its 100,000th visitor Tuesday and presented the lucky man from Hunan Province a widescreen LCD TV as a gift Shanghai Expo Tour Package .Liu Yunxiang, a 63-year-old retiree from Hunan, became the 100,000th visitor to the Taiwan Pavilion at 2:17 p.m. when he stepped into the exhibition area of 1,400 square meters located in Zone A of the Cheap WOW Gold Shanghai Expo 2010.Liu was rendered speechless to be greeted by the Taiwan Pavilion's manager, Walter Yeh, and presented with the 52" Shanghai Expo Tour TV offered by Taiwan's TECO Group.He later toured the Taiwan Pavilion, which carries the theme of "Mountain, Water, the Lantern of Heart and Spirit, Buy Cheap WOW Gold " and received a blessing beamed from a multimedia sky lantern after touching a touch panel.Liu said he might join a 40-member tour group in late June to visit Taiwan.Liu's wife, Yang Junhua, who was with him, WoW Power Leveling said she enjoyed watching a film about Taiwan in a 360-degree real-time panoramic theater in the pavilion."I'd like to visit Taiwan too sometime," Yang said.The 23.8 meter-tall Taiwan Pavilion is designed by C.Y. Lee, the architect who also designed Taipei 101. A 12-meter-diameter LED ball called "the Heart of Taiwan" is located at the center of the pavilion, showing multi-layered multimedia performances showcasing Taiwan's culture and scenery.The pavilion not only shows Taiwan's cutting-edge high technology but also leads visitors through some of Taiwan's natural and cultural attractions, including Sun Moon Lake, ceramics in Yingge, rocks from Jade Mountain and an infinity pool that symbolizes the Pacific Ocean.Since its May 1 opening, the pavilion has been extremely popular, with daily visitor
